About me
Adam Dorrance is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie. He is interested in researching ACL injuries and the return-to-sport of athletes following ACL surgery. He wants to provide clinicians with important information about the athlete’s movements (that you would normally only get from a biomechanics laboratory) by using small wearable devices that can be used in clinics. In the future Adam hopes to continue biomechanics research for a sports company or professional sports team.
